On May 17-18, 2007 in the conference hall of the DIEPS IE RAS the International Conference took place, where at for the first time the results of research project INDEUNIS -
"Industrial Restructurization in the CIS Countries: Experience and Lessons of the States – New Members of the EU"
were presented.
On May 7, 2007 in the DIEPS IE RAS the round table
"Opportunities for Expanding Three Party Cooperation in the Format RF-KNDR-the Republic of Korea. Russia’s Role in Consolidating Peace and Security in North-Eastern Asia"

On April 24, 2007 in the conference hall of the DIEPS IE RAS the Academic Council "International Economic and Political Studies” held its session. Dr. (Econ.) L. I. Kondrashova made a statement on the subject
"Contemporary Regional Policy of the People’s Republic of China".
On April 19, 2007 in the conference hall of the DIEPS IE RAS the Centre for Foreign Economic Studies held a conference of young scientists in the specialty "World Economy" (along the theme of their studies within the framework of indicated specialty). Post-graduate students, applicants, candidates for master degree and senior men of Russian and foreign universities and colleges were invited to participation in the conference.
At the Institute of Economy RAS a set of papers of the international conference
"System Transformation Models and the Social Price of Reforms: Experience of Russia, CIS and CEE Countries" was published.
On April 13, 2007 in the conference hall of DIEPS IE RAS the Russian-Ukrainian seminar
"Topical Problems of Russia-Ukraine Economic Interaction: Ways of Harmonization of Interests"
was held.
