The Institute formulates recommendations on improved social-economic policies and a broad spectrum of international issues for the Federation Council and the State Duma (RF Federal Assembly), the Bank of Russia, ministries and departments of the federal government, heads of regional administrations. IIEPS RAS provides consulting services to Russian and international companies on mutual cooperation, the situation and dynamics of commodity markets, development of Russian regions and post-Soviet republics. IIEPS RAS promotes academic cooperation with European, Asian, American research centres and maintains collaborative ties with international organisation.
